Irony....

Instead of the usual morning walk which I go with my "friendly foe" to IIT campus or Anna University I decided to go to Marina beach for a change.
We started our walking around 8:30 a.m. for the 6 Km stretch, and we completed it around 9:30 a.m. When we were near Laborers Statue (Uzhaipalargal Silai), I saw couple of paradox pasupathis who were in sound sleep at 9:00 in the morning. I took this photo with my mobile; one guy got disturbed and woke up from his slumber.

Then in the afternoon I was describing this incident to my daughter, she said it happens most of the time like this.



Then I started counting on the contradiction that I came across….

List may go on but few related to the morning walk episode…

• Morning walk at 9:30 a.m.
• Use my car to go for walk
• Not studied at IIT or Guindy Engineering College – but visit one them daily for the morning walk
• On Marina Beach which is known for its sand scape – walk on the pavement rather than on the soft sand
• One doing suryanamaskaram not facing the sun
• Living in Chennai from my childhood but visiting Anna Samadi and MGR samadhi for the 1st time
• Having Ice cream after a good walk (compensate the calories burnt) and a sumptuous breakfast (a.k.a. Brunch) at Mylai Karpagambal mess
• Police men protecting the newly laid lawn from trespassing

Bangalore Visit

Vedanthangal Bird Santuary

I and my daughter visited Vedanthangal bird sanctuary on the Saturday 21 February. We reached there early morning around 6:15 and spend time watching and clicking photos till around 10:30. We reached home around 12:00 for a sumptuous lunch at home. Over all it was a good trip.

Random Flowers

Last week I purchased a Nikon D70s from my friend along with a Sigma 70-300 lens. I did a test drive and it was good for Macro and family photos (from a distance). I attempted to capture birds on the flight form the terrace but did not get good picture. I will try the same with Aperture priority.
